My husband, J. Robert Whittle and I began our book writing journey ten years ago in 1998 when I decided I had to publish a book he had written while he was sick … a book we entitled, Lizzie: Lethal Innocence. Suddenly thrust into the unknown world of publishing, I edited and published Lizzie and within two years this book became his first of 3 Canadian Bestsellers.
This blog is about me, our books, and how my husband and I have turned our labour of love into a successful mini-publishing business. We now have 11 novels, 3 bestsellers, 2 IPPY Gold winners, and several audio products. We began as raw amateurs with no knowledge and lots of questions. I hope, through this blog, I will be able to make the journey of manoeuvering through the complicated world of self-publishing a bit easier for YOU.
I’m now in the process of transfering many of our webpages to blogs so I hope you will forgive any seeming disorganization. I hope you enjoy your visit and will visit often as there will be many changes/additions in 2009 and beyond.
